Assign work orders and tasks to your contractors (stakeholders only, never a plain contact), and let them upload before-and-after job photos from their portal that land on the work order for your team.
Once someone is an assignable stakeholder, you can put them on the actual work: work orders and tasks. Only stakeholders whose type has Assignable to work switched on can be assigned — a plain contact never can, which keeps your crew list clean.
Open a work order (from its opportunity) or a task, and use the Stakeholders field to assign one or more contractors. Only assignable stakeholders appear in the picker. When you assign a work order, it's automatically shared into that contractor's portal, so it shows up in their Work Orders tab straight away; assigned tasks appear in their My Tasks tab.
Each work order in the contractor's portal has a Photos section. The contractor can upload before-and-after shots from the job site, right from their phone, against that specific work order. Those photos then appear on the same work order back in your workspace, on the opportunity, so your office sees the job progress without a single email or text.
Photos are private: they're stored securely and only ever shown to the contractor on their own job and to your team, never on a public link.
To give a contractor a portal in the first place, see Contractor portals.
